Portable Motion Control:

Stewart has been building custom motion control camera equipment for over ten years and is the inventor of the recently introduced camBLOCK system.

Stewart has expanded the system he shoots with by enhancing it's capabilities even further. It features pan, tilt, and dolly axis; lens controls; small jib arm for tabletop work; model movers; and even a vertical and horizontal rail system for never before seen shots. And if your shoot requires something more, chances are Stewart can build it.

This expanded camBLOCK system is extremely compact and light weight, bringing motion control to previously unheard of locations. It is light enough to travel by plane as luggage, anywhere in the world.

Director of Photography:

As a director of photography, Stewart has traveled extensively, filming is locations such as Australia, Turkey, Micronesia, Mexico and more. He has worked on numerous commecials, and has been Director of Photography on short and feature length films including the 2009 to be released feature film "Dusk".

Stewart is experienced in shooting film and HD video video formats, and is well versed in Sony's CineAlta F-900, Panasonic Varricam, and smaller HDV sized camcorders. Stewart's personal shooting package includes the Canon XL-H1 HD camera with support, location/interview lighting kit, and small sound package.

Non-Linear HD Post Production:

Stewart is a complete filmmaker with "script to screen" skills. As such, he is an accomplished editor. Having edited documentary, corporate, and narrative projects, his artistic editing skills and deep technical knowledge allow him to achieve high post production quality without the overhead of a fancy post house.

Stewart edits on a custom built uncompressed/compressed HD editing workstation. He also is a certified demo artist for AJA, the pioneer of HD Non Linear Editing Capture Cards, using their Xena 2k edit card.
